life with three babes

I can't believe that I have three children!  Although we are tired, I mean really, really tired - we're having the greatest time.  Poppy is now 5 weeks old, Zoë is turning two (tomorrow) and Beckett just turned three. Where does the time go?

Poppy is a great baby, she's very sweet and peaceful.  How she sleeps with the noise of two toddlers in the house is beyond me!  Having a newborn in my arms again is pure joy, I love babies.  Experience has taught me to enjoy every moment that she is in my arms, even if it's 3am because it doesn't last long.  Before you know it they are running around and it's impossible to get more than a two second cuddle.  These newborn moments pass by in a flash and they are so special, I'm trying my best to savour every second of it.

Although I'm trying to enjoy every second of it (and I am) I am also SO FREAKIN' TIRED.  I forgot how exhausting a newborn is...or is it the toddlers that are exhausting?  I'm doing crazy things, I look in the fridge for a broom, I leave things on the roof of my car and drive off, I find toast in the toaster that I made the day before..."mommy brain" is hard core after three kids.

I hope you like the photos of the kids, my good friend Katyann took them,  trying to get a photo of all three together was a very big challenge! xx

Sending you some energy to help out with those sleepless nights, sleepy days and busy toddlers. Wowza! Be well Tamara! Enjoy all those small moments with your babes!

Oh how I recognize and remember all you are saying there. I've been in that same situation about 12 years ago and even though it is very demanding and you sometimes wonder how things are going to get done day after day, they just do and at the same time it is so wonderful with three little kids, you are so right to try to enjoy every moment of it because it goes by so fast! In fact that's what I always say to everyone having a newborn: enjoy it! My children are older now and I sometimes long for those days they were still little but then every age has its special things that will keep you by!
So, enjoy!

Good Lord, I don't know how you do it. Actually, I don't know how any parent does it! It was lovely meeting Poppy - she's so sweet and she slept the entire time. Bless her. ;)

I've been waiting for these pics! What beautiful children. I love love love the one on the beach! You look so relaxed. (I can just imagine all the work that went into getting them ready, having everything packed & the clean up!) I'm with you on the trying to enjoy every second with little ones. 6 months old and mine is still waking up at all hours. Good luck with your sleep!

Boy I remember after the birth of my third - like you just freaking TIRED all the time. It eventually passed! You do good at being a super mom though, so don't be hard on yourself. You have a gorgeous family - love the photo updates!
