The plan was to get in line to see Santa before his 11am start time. Due to a major Zoë meltdown because she didn't want me to help her put her dress on, we left the house at 10:45am. When we arrived we were seventh in line. Not bad. All was good, the choir was singing and the kids were happy. As we inched closer to Santa it started to fall apart...Zoë removed her shoes, Poppy was squirming and Beckett was laying on the floor. We quickly put everyone in place for the photo....
Good times....such a hilarious photo! Out of the six people ahead of us, four cried. Ho Ho Ho!

Santa looks happy. I can see you and the kids looking back fondly at this photo in a few years. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Absolutely love this photo! First of all it gave me a hearty laugh and then quick memory of some of my kid's Santa photos - not unlike this one. It certainly will be a good memory forever! Have a Merry Christmas and may your "meltdowns" be few!
After the first initial "Awww...." I had to laugh! What a great memory! Love the little outstretched arms from Beckett. The girls dresses are beautiful! My 4 year old picked out the same dress for her Santa photo.
